Yesterday I called a couple of mates up and the jumped on the trusty ole steed and headed to the Cape....Weather was pretty good for it, just a couple of niggly showers. fueled up in Awanui (about 210k round trip) and headed up to thr cape, What a awesome ride, clear roads lovely warm breeze. the new seal is pretty much all done except for a couple of k's just past Waitiki Landing. Anyone out there who has shied away due to the metal that used to greet you should have another peek. the newly sealed section is really smooth.
