I had some trouble with the waterpump and while the mechanic at motosouth invercargill was working on it,he cracked the flywheel casing,so he rang me and told me a new 1 cost about $350 but he could get it welded for $150.Actually I knew that if he broke it they're supposed to pay for it,but i'd had the same sort of trouble with them 7 years earlier and I decided to pay the bill and play along giving him enough rope to see if he'd hang himself,which is exactly what he did.I then sent greg baynes (manager and part owner) a complaint by email which he responded to neither admitting or denying their deliberate overcharging.Then being a North Islander and a lot more str8 up than these fellas down here,I went down to confront him 1 to 1 to sort it out.However I reacted the same way 7 years ago and he knew what to expect and he was outside out back of the shop with the same coupla mates he had the last time and 1 of them who was at least 6 inches taller than my own 6'3" and twice as broad told me if I didnt take off he was going to bash me,but I knew he was all talk because if he was really going to do it he would have,eh!
SO anyway,just like he did 7 years ago greg sent his schoolmates in the invercargill drug squad round to make be back off.
On monday 19th april,the cops arrived at my door with a search warrant for suspicion of growing pot and it's fortunate for me that I'd just arrived home,because they already had gloves on and 2 of the 6 that turned up had these fire extinguishers in their hands which they were going 2 use to smash their way in,wrecking my house,which was obviously their intention,because they were str8 thru the gate and going for the back door,the bloody crooks!
If their intention was honourable they would at the least,have knocked on the front door 1st 2 show me the search warrant they had.
The fact is that greg and his team at motosouth invercargill are the agents for selling all the BIG BIKES to all the BIG BOYS and if he'll nark on me,he'll nark on you,if he hasn't already and if you're a fellow kiwi you'll know that in this country that bad news travels real fast and with the internet even faster and the word is going OUT!
