Living with a Ninja!

Got home early from gym tonight so jumped on Green Envy for a spin before dinner!

I used this opportunity to put into practice all the advice you have posted. I practiced shifting alot quicker to keep it at 6000 rpm and it was much better. I didn't feel like I was killing the poor thing to quickly...and I think the bike liked it too...kept a steady humming, there were a few slip ups but for the most part I stayed at 6000 or slight just over.

Next thing I want to practice is cornering on this thing...the shorter wheel base is different than my cruiser, just a little tilt and its practically chasing its tail...doing a 180...lol...well, ok I am exagerating...but its different for me!

I am re-learning how to ride...lol...its quite fun...I love the little Ninja! I feel like I have more control over every little movement it makes.

You will definately have a lot more control on the 250cc Ninja than a big cruiser. Sounds like you are having a lot of fun.

im going round corners near the redline, it gets more and more fun as your confidence in the bike grows.
