Well, finally after some cajolling, have joined up with Kiwi Biker.

Bit embarrassing at the moment as still L-plated (should have done test 18 years ago in UK, but was sworn off it by father) - now have to do stage by stage version.

Am possibly entering mid-life a bit early, but being on a little trail bike wakes you up to reality.

Restricted test can be taken in a month - 'bout time!

Only use bike to do part of commute at moment - 15km morn and night (not fun trying to run SH1 without officially being allowed to do 100!)

get out on weekend when can, but chances are few and far between.

Got my eye on that 'Kapiti Tagomania' thingy, just got to understand how the posting is done (thank you Devo for the prompt on Saturday).

    Weve all been there or at least those that have bothered, I did the same thing and came here from UK and then decided to get a bike again so no worries totally understand. Look on the brightside it does not take long to get a full license.

    wind was pretty strong this morning - leant over at about 60degrees just to keep going in a straight line - fun in a way though
