Replacement tyres

Rate this Entry
Hi I am about to replace my OME rear tyre on a Boulevard m90 (Bridgestone Exedra 200x17). have been advised that the Metzler M880 is the way to to go but as I am new to this I would appreciate some advice on this tyre from anyone who is using or has used this tyre in the past. Really interested in wet handling ability.
Thanks.

I got some Metzeler M5 tires for my CB400 and they were brilliant. After 100km they were very grippy. Most people I've spoken to about tire brands say Metzeler are awesome and, though this is my first set of new tires (other than when the bike was new) I can't fault them.

Yes, the 880's are good but I like Avon Cobras the best, I have had them on my M109 for 15k and still great, very sticky but predictable in the wet as well, I think I will get 20k if I keep riding like I do.

THE Metzlers are excellent tyres for the heavy bikes, i am currently running them on my Harley Davidson Deuce, i find them very dependable in the wet. for the best prices and advise phone Mike at DPC ON 092947955, dUNLOP 409 ARE ALSO GOOD AND SOME WHAT CHEAPER

I have the Metzler 880 WWW on my C50T and they are much better than the OEMs IMO.

Haven't clocked up a lot of k's on them yet tho.

    Thanks All for the advice,

Purchased the Metzler ME880 Marathon ($430 fitted) and are more than happy with it at this stage.
