Hi, I am replacing conti,s on Honda st 1300. Thinking of fitting pilotroad 2. Any one got info re wet, dry handling . Any info appreciated. Cheers juice471.
Those are the only tires I use on my Yamaha Fjr and my friend rides what you do and I turned him on to these now he won't use anything else either.
BIKE magazine comment, "Damned good in the wet and very good for high mileage. Not recommended for tracks."
I am currently running these on my ST1300. Done about 3000km so far and very happy with the handling in wet and dry. They also have a nice profile which feels really good when cornering. Previous to this the only tyres I rated on the ST were bridgestones.
Pilot Road 2's are a great tyre. The Road 3 is out now, i'd be giving them a go.
