all4A50s newbie experience

I have decided to put Zensen and myself on diets as I am heading back off to A Grade. After winning B Grade for the second time I'm sort of in the position of being really too fast for B but not quite fast enough for A Grade.

So to hopefully gain the 1-2 second improvement in times I'm aiming to slim the bike by 20 kg. Amy and I removed the fairing and mount, losing 4.5 kg. Next I'm going to remove the rear cone off the exhaust and see how much that saves versus noise (as in I'll now it's too loud as the wife will yell at me if it is).

Then I'll see.

On a proud Dad moment; Amy's enthusiasm is building as the chance for her to start racing looms closer. The RG50 needs new tyres (I tried to ride it and didn't even make the warm up laps before crashing) so we are going to nylon the DS80 so if we go to Napier in a couple of weeks hopefully she can get out there too.
