THIS WEATHER IS SO FRUSTRATING. It's simply to cold and wet to do much work in the garage

In saying that my hands haven't been completely idle. The parts arrived last week for Zensen and ended up only replacing the exhaust valves and seals as all I could find was a lot of carbon build up. I've fitted the race shock (which lifted the back end by at least 3 cm), which I can't wait to try out as this should give me a higher corner exit speed. When comparing the race cams to the standard cams there is a huge difference, so there should be a good lift in engine performance.

Hopefully I won't have to change the shims so I can go ahead and finish putting the bike back together. Either way I need to have the bike finished by next Monday as I am putting her on a Dyno to sort out the fuel mapping.

I put Zensen's old shock in Ikasu which lifted her back end by a good 5 cm and now, while being soft there is some rebound. She still needs to have her race seat properly fitted, chain refitted and be nylon'd up. With the engine work Mark has done Amy should do very well on her.

Unfortunately I won't make it to the next round this Sunday but am on target to have both bikes ready for the September. Until then I'm going to have to get my fix riding around my street.
