Frankton Thunder -March 5th and 6th 2016
Frankton Thunder is two day event planned on a Saturday and Sunday on the first weekend in March 2016, which is aimed at bringing public awareness to Frankton and the businesses with in.
The Frankton Thunder Event itself is planned to bring visitors from around New Zealand to participate or spectate at this great Motor Vehicle / Motor Cycle Event.
Frankton Thunder is an event planned to stimulate the appetites of New Zealand Car and Motorcycle Enthusiasts, with multiple events happening, and to make the event one which those visiting will want to talk about and return to in greater numbers the following year.
• By combining car and motorcycle club activities such as swaps meets with the event, it will attract more to the event, and benefiting all of those who participate.
• Drag Racer, Circuit Racer, Speedway Racer, Off Road, Motocross, Rally, Land speed Racer, , Drifters, Classic and Vintage Enthusiast, V8 or Rotary Fans, we hope to have something for everyone to enjoy.

On Sunday March 6th 2016 the Waikato Ulysses Club will finish their annual “Toy Run” from Cambridge in Frankton, which in itself has the potential to bring some 1000 to 1500 motorcycles and passengers/supporters which could easily number an additional 2000 visitors to Frankton plus the exhibitors and visitors to Frankton Thunder.

Any funds raised through Frankton Thunder and its activities, will have the proceeds donated to Waikato Child Cancer.
