I just pulled my engine apart after my brutality of Saturday sprint race.

    Ummmm........where's the icon for gabsmacked! Don't know much about motors but I thought valve stems were normally vertical...? And is that a valve without any stem....?

    Did this happen catastrophically or over time?

    Great blog. First time I've checked the KB blogs out.

    Your correct they're supposed to be straight and complete. It's down to valve float caused by over revving as described the earlier blog entry about the 08 BoB.

    This is the best possible result post valve failure, trust me!
