Philip's Ravings

I went for a ride yesterday with serveral friends starting on the North Shore of Auckland, out to Kaukapa and then SH16 up to SH1 and back again.

We stopped off at Warkworth for a coffee, and arrived just in time to see a restored ship being given its maiden voyage. It looked like the whole township had turned out.

Then we stopped off at the Puhoi pub for a drink. About 10 minutes later a guy started playing the bag pipes in what looked like a full formal garb. I'm guessing it was Scottish, but that is just a guess.

And then back on home. It was a great ride and everyone enjoyed their time.

I went riding with the AMCC today as well. This was a rider training day to raise road safety awareness, and a follow on event from ART earlier on in the year.
The great was great again. Perfect weather. And we finished with a BBQ and a chat.
