Autobahn. What/Where is it?

There are two Autobahn cafés in Auckland.

  • Bombay BP Service Centre Mill Rd Bombay Pukekohe
  • Papakura BP Service Centre State HIghway 1 Papakura

The Papakura Autobahn café is a common meeting place for Auckland bikers heading south. It is located at the Motordrome service stop on the Southern Motorway. The off ramp to this service area is just past the Papakura off ramp.

You cannot get off the motorway at this service stop as the only place you can go is back on the motorway.

Flying Fish. What/Where Is It?

The Flying Fish is a cafe in Martinborough frequented by heaps of biking types and a favourite of all KBers that ride the Rimutakas.

It can be found on the south side of the Square.

Martinborough is on Highway 53 (off SH2 at Featherston and a couple of clicks down the road)
