When will it stop pissing down/blowing a gale so i can get olut for a ride? I am picking up a R1150gs from Auckland in Feb and may be tempted to look for somwhere warmer to live. I did the southern scenic route on new years day and nearly got blown off a couple of times but it was good to get out. I was going to do the Earnslaw and out through the Von this weekend but im not sure what the river crossihgs will be like after the rain anybody been there lately? Anybody been anywhere lately?
