    What is the most thrilling bike you have owned or ridden? Mine would be the Honda CX500 Turbo that I had for 3yrs before the 1100i sport (which would be the second choice) We are all entitled to our own thoughts and ideas so here’s mine on the CX500 Turbo for those that have never ridden one........

    GSX 1400 Chainguard

    Just had the rear mount break on my chain guard. It appears on a couple of Forums this is a common fault ? Easy fix (no welding !!!), is what I'm copying at the mo. Pics for your info : The Guard is alloy, but I've got some Stainless together with stainless bolts/nuts etc....

    Protest ride

    Tuesday 4th December

    This is an opportunity for all motorists to show your concern about the dangers of wire
    rope barriers ("Cheese Cutters") on New Zealand roads.
    If you feel these are a danger to motorcyclists and other road users, then join this protest ride
    to raise the public profile of the campaign to stop the
    construction of these and to improve the safety of existing barriers.

    Leaving: Yacht basin on Redoubt St, Taupo.

    Meet at 11:15 For 11:45 Departure

    Destination: ROAD SAFETY BARRIER SYSTEMS WORKSHOP, Suncourt Motor Hotel & Conference Centre.     Approx 15-20 mins riding
    NB: there are no toilets, food stores or petrol pumps there.
