I be travelling down from Napier on Saturday approx 10am and back after funeral (or I could consider staying the night in Welly...). Bike is the plan, but if crappy weather I take car and happy to take others with me.

    PM me.

May the bridges I burn light the way.

There will be a ride organised whether it be to the funeral venue or on departure from the venue. We are just waiting further confirmation of details before we make firm plans. All will be welcome....meeting place and time will be confirmed as soon as we know. A seperate forum will be started in " Biker News" with all the confirmed details for the ride...........

I'll be at the funeral with family in tow so no bike for me.

We have a couch that opens to a double bed for those who are stuck for accommodation. PM me.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

    BMW's funeral arrangements

    The plan IS..

due to the fact that the funeral parlour has it's own crematorium.....

we will NOT be escorting her anywhere..

    so

all who want to ride to the parlour should meet at the

    DUCK POND BY 1.30pm

as we have a few options on the route:
please PM me as to where you will be meeting us IF you cannot make the duck pond

there will be a pick-up point at the petone rail station... IF you PM me

but our LAST pick up is the petrol station on the OLD Hutt road.

a social gathering AFTER the even will be confirmed later...

    AJ

Andy, and friends and family, hope you don't see this as an intrusion....

I took the liberty to google the funeral home, to know where to send some flowers...I found the address, and thought maybe others that can't or won't be attending, but would like to send something, could do so to this address?

Not being from Welly, can I have an address where the mentioned Duck Pond is?

    Google wellington maps

    FAIRWAY Dr.

it is the car park on the LEFT just over the bridge, OFF
    Western Hutt Rd.

    there is

    Avalon Park

if you zoom in you can see a "Duck Pond"

there is a car park there... honest
