Such sad news. A loyal battler, who somehow always got back up from life's kicks.
    We'll miss you, Shirl.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Oh no that's so sad. I didn't really know her apart from her posts here, they were awesome and seemed so positive and yet realistic. RIP (BMW).
If you love it, let it go. If it comes back to you, you've just high-sided!

BMW Shirley was a blonde tornado. One of those rare individuals who wasn't afraid to tell folks what was on her mind, yet also compassionate and generous of spirit.

She was one of those people who lit up a room when she walked in. I think that's called "X factor" or "larger than life".

Shirley was a great chat, either in person or online. I greatly enjoy people who do this well, and Shirley could.

There are too few Shirleys in this world. Alas there is now one less.

    I will miss her.

Strange thing this KB place, I have met, argued, laughed, joked and enjoyed the company of people that in real life I would never have met.

BMW is a perfect example - I only met her via the KB site, yet I'll miss her and her posts.

Typical of Shirley to want help from no one, but to make a sure a friend was around at journey's end, both physically and metaphysically.

    Best pillion ever.

    RIP.

Rest in peace Shirley, what an amazing woman.

And Col, you have been a great great friend.
