RIP and condolences to you and friends of hers.
To me she was a lady who always looked on illness and such other crap things in life with an attitude of "someones worse off than me".

Greatfull thanks for keeping us informed, shit not much to say, sorry maybe.

Did someone say "forthright" - well thats close to the mark if you needed a one word description of our blonde angel. A tall tree has fallen and a gap will be left in the place where she stood. Ride on, dear friend.

    Gutted.

We certainly will miss ya Shirl.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

    RIP Shirley

I knew Shirley and we had some good yarns together. She was larger than life and deserved a whole lot better than the hand that life dealt her.

    She never complained though.

    She will be missed.

    Condolences to friends and family.

    Richard

    You got it in one...man...
I found her to be Lovely Lady, who reached out to me in my early months here.
    Her posts affected me greatly.
I had no idea she was battling for her life until last week...I feel very sad, but maybe now she can be at peace.

RIP, and condolences to family and friends

What?? Shit!! I know I've been, kinda, not really paying much attention recently but ... last I heard she was biking round the SI, looking after a friend who was also ill and something about house sitting and a cat.

Oh, I see (http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...ad.php?t=99729). Ohhhhh crap. She just did not get any breaks, ever. Fuckit.
