    Thanks for the ride guys. Unless you like slippery roads and rain be glad you didn't continue on to Akaroa... for the rest of us it was a real hoot though. I've never tried anything as consistently slippery as the muddy stockroute up to Hilltop. Slippery when wet indeed... Alas, now my bike needs a good wash - can hardly read the number plate - guess I'll get around to it sometime over the next few months.

    was a nice little run to LR then over Gebbies to the wheatsheaf for some lunch & a chat then up over the kiwi now that was fun & my daughter liked it as well thanks M will do it again sometime

    Sounds like I made a good call to turn back at Little River then

    Truthbetold it was the queue at the coffee shop that helped me make that decision ....

    Haha yeah so I may have decided not to go to Akaroa but ended up being coaxed into a ride to Diamond harbour by Harvd, the dick!

    I hope this caused much confusion to Phoenix and Fireliv as they came tearing back through Lytellton.

    Oh and I came bloody close to running out of petrol, which led to me unexpectedly stopping twice. Does that count as breaking down?

    Sorry I didn't turn up today.. Headed in from Rangiora got as far as Hornby and had to turn around. Started to get a migraine so went home. Hope you all had a good one.
