RD350LC race bikes. Who's got them?

Hi all, i race in pre82 junior and was wondering were all the pre 82 bikes are (all types ,not just LCs) ,there seems to be heaps of pre 89 around , so whats happened to all the older bikes, Sitting in sheds needing fresh fuel and some enthusism? it would be great to have more than 5 or 6 in post classic(pre82), The more numbers we can get on the track at club events the more chance of a seperate Pre82 race instead on racing with the Pre89, its much more fun mixing it up with older bikes on 18" wheels than with VFRS , ZXRs
and the like with sticky rubber and alloy frames
See you at VMCC round 2 with you Pre82s

I have a rd350LC, up till recently there was no hope of p89 down south so we have always had pretty good p82 (mixed with p72)

I dont really understand your comment re 18" wheels, as P82 wheels and tyres are open. My LC has 17" rims withs RS125 slicks, goes great !!

On a good day there would be that many RD350LC racing down here + everything else

Cool, They do exist then, re the 18 wheels, i just think pre 82 should race on 18" wheels to keep them period, i also have a 87 tzr250 and spares and i did think about using those wheels and slicks from 125GP, It would slow the big dollar Senior bikes with with GIXER wheels down heaps running on 18" with less tyre choice , and make them more of a hand full lol, isnt that why we race old bikes

hope all is well with gwenda and 99, my lc has done a bit of gardening in the past lol, i have a gear box full of nuetrals and grindy bits at the mo, leaky crank seal ans sucked the gear box dry, i think they like having oil in them, are the dashes 99 and the other lc mounted on the top of the triple clamp bracket or underneath as factory, they just look quite high above the bars compared to my road bike, my rad bike was like that for ages till i saw a original one and moved them down, looked much better
    Where were those pics from?

Most of them are from Ruapuna. Post Classic are what we ride when we are waiting for the next bucket race. Before Dangerous seems like hes a RD riding god.....think again, he slow as fook!

My GSX400F is on 17's for the free rubber and it does help handling slightly

99 is/was as in those pics standard... but due to being wiped out I have now mounted it like #68... straight out from the 2 small 6mm threads under the trip clamp.
