Was a great ride. My first KB group outing.

Excellent route, I will be going back over some of those roads.

We left the BP just after 0930 - sorry to those that missed out.
Gotta understand that most of us had been standing around for 20+ minutes in the cold and were keen to get moving.

Lunch was really early - I think we pulled into the Fish and Chip shop aroud 11and were on our way again by 11:45

Only one minor off - rider did a great job parking the bike in a ditch.
    Luckily no injuries.

Hope to see you all you guys and gals again soon.

Hey guys, Thanks again, it was a great day, fantastic roads and great bunch of people... keen to do that again at some stage, the guy on the trumpy was one lucky dude planting it in the ditch like that. Hope the bike turns out for the best once you wash all the dirt off...

and how about that valiant ute... that's a story in itself...

Couple more pics attached of the group, one at Kaiaua and one at Mercer at the end of the day.

If you had a BLACK Gixxer 1000 that sort of shit would never happen! Or even an old red/BLACK Gixxer 1100!
