Yes...you forget I am from UK so this is not cold to me...mind you I used to pop up to Scotland Jan / Feb time to do a spot of climbing and at the top of Kilimanjaro it was -20ish at 5 am....

Did you go across on the ferry or take the old Russell rd?

Up 16 then 12 then 14 then SH 1 to Whakapara and out on to Old Russell Road, late lunch at the Duke and then back via the ferry and SH1.

620k round trip and it only rained through the Dome

Cool day, and it was a little cool in places.....
Once at Mangawhai it warmed up, great spot out the back in the sun with Chicken/Bacon and Cheese burger and Chips...
Boomer/Death/Draco/Sharry/Dave ...awesome to see you all....
Boomer that duke suits mate, you look right at home on it and its not often I can hear a bike behind me but those Akras sound the snarl....

Ended up at the Puhoi...met up with the Wickeds and Placidfemme.
Placed was packed when we arrived and alot of sun there also...
