You're obviously not very bright. And you just alienated me as well.

Okay Twat, a few points here. The drunken passengers are in the cars that are doing burnouts etc. How do they get there, other than riding in the car with the driver? Is it the drunken passengers doing that - if it is, they deserve a bullet - I, like many others, have lost family to drunk drivers. The problem is the passengers and the drivers collectively. Didn't they teach you logic at whatever inbred cluster-fuck of a school you dropped out of?

Next point, the average 1000 rider on this site is more responsible than you can ever comprehend, a litre of happy endings becomes a terminal ride if you ride like a wanker. Your CBR250 in no way prepares you for any commentary on a larger capacity bike. It's the equivalent of a pre-schooler explaining the laws of physics to a professor.

Last point - this is a societal issue with the group we call boy racers - who gives a fuck why or whatever, if a passenger in my car was shooting at a cop, I'd be the first to break him into little pieces. Your logic is a flawed as you are dull.

If you're so smart then why are you blaming the wrong people for all the shit that happens?

Go back the post above - read it out loud. If written comprehension is a weak point (evidently the case), get someone smart to read it out loud to you and explain it using small words.

Your logic is so flawed, are you stoned, stupid, or stoned and stupid?

It is the drunk passengers that are causing the problems, not the drivers. When the cop got shot at, it was a drunk idiot passenger, not the driver, so why are we blaming the drivers? Why is no one wanking on about why we need tougher airgun laws? We have much more important things to worry about, such as the huge debt that this country is in, family violence etc, not trivial things such as "boy racers". The real problem has nothing to do with cars, it's those idiot passengers who can't handle their alcohol and it's them that are causing 90% of the trouble such as bottling cars and starting fights. And when you look at the fatal crash statistics the vast majority of fatalities on our roads are caused by the average 40 year old driver who made a fuck up, not boy racers. It's about time the government got its' priorities right and started cracking down on the REALLY dangerous behaviour such as unsafe overtaking, drunk drivers etc.
Methinks the lady doth protest too much.

It's not the media who do donuts at the end of our cul-de-sac in north east ChCh.
Wasn't the media who lost control of a donut and smashed a wheel rim on the gutter at my front gate.

We're not talking about fatalities in accidents. We're talking about anti-social behaviour.

But since he's on the topic of boy racers killing innocents:
Young girl killed on the shore a few years back by a boy racer.
Pedestrian (young female) killed in Ponsonby after she stepped out in front of a drag race
2-3 boy racers killed on the sidelines of impromptu drag races that I can recall in the last ten years (wish the number was higher...)
5 boy racers killed on east coast road, lost control at over 200 kph
2 minutes further up the road, young woma lost control of her new WRX, she died, along with a passenger from memory...

Its not only that .An accident is an event caused by chance. If you deliberatly take risks thats not an accident thats just running into the inevitable.Role three dice long enough and you will get a triple 6 eventually.
Thats why a motorsport commentator calls it a racing incident.

Dude in a Supra struck and killed a pedestrian in Fendalton, another racer on Fitzgerald Ave struck and killed a pedestrian... Guy in an RX7 struck a tree on Coleridge St, died...

And wasn't there a young woman killed in Wellington just a year or two ago when one of two racing cars hit her?

Apparently, I need to spread it around.

In '07 a Christchurch boy racer c**t knocked me off my bike whilst trying to evade a cop. I got a stay in hospital, some f'kin' painful, lingering injuries, permanent scars, a fucked Harley, and a few grand in reparation. He got fourteen months in prison and by now will have returned to his very wealthy family and is no doubt back behind the wheel of another flash car.

To me the blame lies with a system that allows kids to buy powerful cars and run them uninsured (f'kin' madness!). At sixteen you don't much think about consequences so driving like a twat in a Subaru is just 'fun'.

We need a graduated licence scheme, an extended provisional period, and an increase in the minium driving age to about 19. A few years on scooters will teach them somthing about vulnerability and road sense.

I believe in Japan, once a Fine is imposed in court, the defendant is marched around the corner by a Police Officer to the payment office. No pay, they stay!

I'd imagine, friends/family etc would soon get pissed off bailing someone out and they would find their own level as it were..........

Molly, thanks, you illustrated the point perfectly. There is no action without care that doesn't have consequence, and normally, the person on the recieving end gets the most impact.

SMOKEU, pull your head out of your ass - this is the consequence of the stupid boyracer stuff.
