were is 'a' and were is 'b'... ok comming from the coast, but did the choo choo bypass chch to head north? IIRC the main line was always on the south side till after the stair case?

Some of the old railway loading banks and sheds can still be seen on the side of the Rangiora-Oxford road

Drove over this today in the work truck. Cars with bikes and kayaks attached all over the place. If you Christchurch fellas don't get up there in the next two days I am going for a ride on Sunday. Should not be too busy then. (unless there are some very slow Coast to Coasters!)
