thing is the bigest prick of a horse the old man had was a 'ginga' and a shetland at that, thing would squash ya up against the fence... anyway I sooner fit a tyre to my bike than a 'horse shoe' to a pony anyday and the dog needs neither.

I'll pop out and pick another one up, there was a few skid marks and I thought someone else might have already been there before me so I was in a a hurry to get home (keeping within the speed limit of course)

It's just a shelter with seating and some information posters about the area.

Old brain getting a bit slow, in spite of knowing where the hives are I couldn't work out the clue. Too dark to get now.

The place looks real familiar but buggered if I know where it is or what the clue means.

Is it out near Spencer Park?

Nothing to do with seamen, more to do with surveying

Yep, our section that was surveyed in 1925 measures 100x250. I had to ask one of the older drafting guys at work what the hell the units were.

So it's off to a couple of cricket pitches then....I don't think you can get there by rail any more though.
Riding cheap crappy old bikes badly since 1987
