Allowing recent file photos for placement of a new tag means you can have daylight ones all the time. Disallowing them means you're going to get a lot more night photos to look for as some of us just can't get out during the mid week in daylight.

Agree with TA on this....
Jesus was nailed up to some wood, two thousand years later and book sales are still good
Yes, that is the downside. We are past the shortest day tho![]()
Or if you make a new tag in the dark you have to back it up with a daylight version which would be from file... or even google
Although that will not do anything for the flow of the game and may be a bit frustrating having to go back to tag a place in the dark that you photographed just last weekend in the daylight.![]()

Not having a dig
But lets not complicate the game with too many rules..
I think that as long as it a clear..ish photo, so to see background and other clues then its all good. The game is about trying to get a photo that will enable to get people out and about...that way they will see more potential tags for themselves etc
Some camera's are not bad at taking photo's at night and some...well thats another issue......
Just MHO

An hour of straights isn't really my idea of "spice", if anything it creates more of a google challenge because less people are willing to ride a straight road for so long to just have a look.
Keep in mind that that was just an opinion, I actually think it would be stupid to add any more rules and would prefer to just let the game run its course.
It's all just fun anyway. I think everyone has the good sense not to do anything to ruin it.
Just saying that the game seems more fun when tags are closer, but everybody has a different idea of what the game is (and what fun is) so letting it run its course accomodates everyone.
When life throws you a curve ... Lean into it ...
Well checked a few spots tonite no luck , Can ya see this brick circle thing from the road Guzzi?
The game is obviously different things to different people as is everything in life I suppose. I see no need to have exactly the same rules as every one else.
If we keep the status quo then there will almost certainly be a full days wait for everyone before a new tag goes up on a fair few of the next tags I get.
End of the day it's not going to be anything anyone's going to loose sleep over, what ever everyone settles on.
If the game gets to feeling too broken by a lot of waiting then I'll likely just loose interest... not that that matters really.
Just going to sit back and see what happens now.
I'm all out of 2c

I definatly want to play the game but if the rule is daylight only pix, Thats me out. I work 6 days a week, often 70+ hours . It is impossible for me to take pix in daylight during the week.
Night shots reduce the level of info one can glean from a pic. A tidy solution would be allowing file pix. The way I see it, as long as your bike is in the pic, you have been there so whats the difference if I take the pic at lunch time on sunday, or straight after hunting down a fresh tag?
Well, if you do the ride on the Sunday in advance for the purpose of using as a tag in the near future I think that's ok. I guess the original rules mean file photos as in - I was here a year ago.
Don't want to get bogged down in rules so just everybody do tags as they see fit. We all have different bikes, time commitments etc so there will be somebody interested in going for them.
I'm chuffed that this tag is actually stumping you guys, hardly expected that! Yes, the moon gate can be seen from the road. The building behind the fence was an instution with a dispicable past. In the last 100 years it has had slightly different uses but there is one common denominator that links them.
Hmmm, very intrigueing. Is it anything to do with Sunnyside??
