Do I hear the rumble of a Guzzi warming in the background?.

Here is another version of the same sculpture by Mackenzie Thorpe, If I am correct the guys from Cookie Time have an association with Autism NZ and are sponsors of the outdoor sculpture gallery in Worcester Blvd in Town.
Dam, I got a couple of different ones on the way home but chose that cos' it was the best photo.Guess I didnt look that hard at the map
.
Nice evening for a wee ride anyway.
You are right of course SDC building Norman Kirk Dr Rolleston.
Did they still have EVERY light in the place on when you where there?.
MacKenzie Thorp has built quite a business around the "lean on love" theme. Apart from the $60,000 brass statue, there are the little ones (which also cost an arm and a leg)and also various limited edition pastel prints. Theres a couple of other brass statues that make the set too.
Thorp is dislexic and Cookie time manage a charitable trust that supports dislexia in NZ so thats the common denominator.
Heres the new one boys and girls. Its on a prominant road and can be easily seen
Damn not knowing my local attractions!! lolI could go for this today, have tried to google horse wall, tile, blah blah and no luck... back to the study for me I guess.... if any of you clever pants sees this and takes pity on me, feel free to add a clue! :P
Cheers

In saying its on a prominant road I start thinking a nice careful ride around the State highways leading around and out of ChCh might be in order, there aren't that many of them.
Thinking the West Coast Rd may have some potential but it's all just a guess as my clever pants and google both fail me today so far.
Working until 8pm and then it's supposed to rain.![]()

Black 'Beauty" is parked on curbing or seal at least... and there is a cage hiding in the bushes... perhaps a carpark at a race course?? ... Yes.. I am back looking longingly at the pic for inspiration for about the 5th time today.. whilst studying inbetween times of course! lolSadly, nothing has come to me and my time to ride is rapidly dissapearing... give me a year and a half ( when the boy is 14) and I will be a formidable tagging opponent, that is if you've not tagged the entire region by then!
Good luck with this one folks.. I'll keep an eye out for the result for sure!

Keep plugging away EmTA's ideas make alot of sense. This monument was a Year 2000 project.
After much googling I have come up with this.
Unfortunately unless I go NOW I wont be able to go check it out until Sat afternoon.
Just how bad is that rain....![]()
Staying home...... only just thoughDecisions; Decisions
Someone else will get it.
Well I been for a bit of a cycle and I can tell you I didn't see it on Lincoln Ed down to Curletts Rd to Yaldhurst Rd all the way to the Old West Coast Rd turn off and back Carmen Rd, toward town on Main South Rd and the start of Riccarton then dived over to see most of Blenheim Rd to Morehouse Rd again.
