    That's too much clue there!
I thought that but I know people are reluctant to go to far from town at this time of year so wanted to make it nice and easy so it was just about who could get out and get it and not about spending 6 hours on google earth trying to find it.

According to my speedo it is about 90km's from town, so just a nice ride there and back.

Watch out for the grit though!!!!.

    Enjoy.
Certainly does appeal, even as a sealed road mission (The way of almost total dirt would add well over an hour or so to the trip.)
Pity I didn't see it earlier as I went cycling up Rapaki instead of tagging. Mind you after the Bluff mission there's a little fatigue set in, at least that's what I'm blaming my constant wobbling up Rapaki on.
It don't look like it will photograph well in the dark but I'll watch and see what happens and when the time suits me if it's still waiting I'll happily go.

Well done PJ, sounds like you put some time into finding this one.

Sure did, I knew I had seen those wavy hedges somewhere, Turns out I went to a building site just round the corner dozens of times recently. It wasn't until FJR gave out that big hint about " ASK THE COUNCIL" that I got it though....

When I headed back from breakfast in Akaroa this morning, there were dozens of bikes coming the other way. So I reckon there's plenty of stomach for a short ride like that. Probably too late for most to go that far today though :-)

You were NOT wrong... my comment was not intended as a hint, merely a reply to your post. .....but if it worked ...

If the Tag was the 2nd picture, the one with bike and sign together, I'd have done it already as that would be achievable at night, but I'm not going hunting some bushes and a bit of a hole in the cliff face in the dark. It's unlikely the camera can light that up nicely with out extra lighting, even if it can be found easily at night.
If it's still alive on Friday, that is my best chance at a daylight shot, it just isn't important enough to get up early enough to get before work.
If anyone goes before then, well congratulations to you.

The tag don't need to move every day anyway.
