That's the one. For Transalper, it's roughly opposite 33 Leinster Tce, Lincoln

The plaque on the rock says it's a Rotory "Arbor" in recognition of past presidents or some such, laid 9th of August 1994.

Ah uh! So that's what the reference to Nagasaki+49 was all about. I got the 1994 bit and was guessing it was a memorial garden or some such to the event that was laid then. I never clicked that it was just a reference to the actual date.

Yes, it was a clue, but not a very good one, because after I placed it I did the googling, and it's nowhere to be found online. Technophobe Rotarians.

Bummer. Guess where I was this afternoon, knew I should have gone this morning.

Once I figured out where it was I should have left it for you, after all it's across the road from the other one you picked up.

Hard luck, at least it was a nice afternoon for a ride. The road to the next tag is one of my favourites.

Was a very nice afternoon for a ride, over dyers and then round through port levy and over to pigeoin bay to take the pointless picture, harbour was looking lovely this afternoon.

Anyway, I know where this one is but someone else can pick it up, don't feel like going down the same road 3 days in a row. If D had posted his a bit earlier I could have got it last night, if nfcog had posted his earlier I could have got it instead this afternoon. I can't figure out whether I'm running half a day early or half a day late.

Clue time: The name of this road in english is "humpback" but that isnt what it says on the sign, the mountain which shares this name was called "digging stick" by maori with which Rakaihautu scooped out the great southern lakes.
