ahhhh, ya see I dont reconise the tag cos I havnt been there for many a year, altho usually do a arvo ride to the pub on the day, but that pub has been shut since the 1st quake, years ago the rally moved from the taged gate to behind the pub, I believe IIRC the rally is now held back up the road, I think, HOG rallys dont really interest me.

Ha ha I took a pic of that the other day too as a potential new tag pic, but decided on the Hororata one instead. I could post up a pic right now but that wouldn't be in keeping with the rules ... perhaps if I photo shopped it so it looked like I shot out there tonight

I've got a picture of a ducati at the same spot too, from the ride out the other day to the tag I got beaten to, but thought it might look a bit sus.

Im kinda likeing these early cold morning rides, bit of a change from the afternoon race to the pisser...
heres the tag also pictured from the othere side, interesting building with a similer built house to the side of it, unsure what it was ever built for.
So after thinking it was at the end off the Hororata road only to find a beaten up church (I was sure it was there, fark Im tied or getting old or both) I headed to Darfield were I passed the tag.

That would have been a pretty expensive build for a shearing shed? can't say I've ever seen one done in anything other than wood and there's no pens anywhere near it and hasn't ever been in the decade or two I've been riding past it?

Pretty sure it's the old homebush shearing shed, built out of the same locally made bricks that the old homestead was.
