I hope you get the CBR too. It looks like a really good example of a really excellent learner bike. That one has had only the one owner since it was imported into NZ. Has really low Kms, and the advantage of being close, so checking it out won't be a problem. Plus you'll get Hondas famous reliability and build quality. Hopefully see you at NASS this Wed.

Any status updates on this, Danae? Still heading up to Keri tomorrow?

Sup guys, just got back from Welly!

We're gonna check out the CBR tomorrow, and if it's as awesome as it looks I am so getting it. The weather looks a bit dodge as well so if we don't end up going to Kerikeri all good cos it beats riding a long distance in the rain.

in about 30 minutes we're going to look at the cbr150

the fxr in wanganui is ok - all good except one headlight bulb is blown/broken, clutch cable needs lube, the front tyre is dangerous (wrong size and not round) and a few cosmetic defects

wind/wet and r6 being out of action means we wont be going north till we have to... might try to borrow a vfr800....

Good news. I hope the CBR is all it's cracked up to be. Looks good to me. Might not need a trip up to Keri?

the CBR150 is officially moar fun (and moar power) than the FXR150

    brakes etc are all awesome

    handling is brilliant

    motor is great

    ....

...but by the time i got it back it had a cyclic (comes and goes) knocking sound coming from under the rocker cover

seller says it's the first he's heard of it and will try to get a mechanic to assess asap

only other 'issue' was how everything vibrated lots at high revs - and by everything i mean EVERYTHING; especially fairings. the fxr fairings stay quiet, cbr makes vibration noise

The seller is gonna take the CBR to be looked at on Monday. Seems so far away, gah! Plus he said some guy from Hawkes Bay (I think) is gonna come in to look at it for his wife.

    I so want this bike
