Cool, thanks! There's an FXR in Thames that may be worth checking out.

The Thames one looks okay but he's asking too much for it, it should be more like $1900 for that, and what are the Kms?

The VTZ (Spada?) looks pretty sweet. Even though it's older, those motors are awesome, and it's probably a better buy for the money, IMHO.

That vtz will be a naked version of the older vt250 f, which was the most powerful version of the 250 twin honda has made (to the best of my knowledge), being a naked it is probably the same motor as the spada (but different chassis), anyway if you look after the spada motor it'll look after you, its a cracker, you will leave hyosnugs and the new nijas for dead

    do iiiittttt

Ha who have you been talking to..

Well my spada shat itself big time, BUT ! That was after around 120,000k and a severe lack of maintainance, I haven't heard of any others suffering the same fate..

ohhhh right on, that makes sense.

spada's are just like any other 250, look after them and they'll be sweet.

    Oh crap, the VTZ expired.

I still have the number of the guy selling the FXR in kerikeri. I have the money so I can buy it whenever, just need a way to get up there and bring it back. I could hire a trailer etc...

    Thumbs up

    This one:
    http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Mo...-223258464.htm

in Hamilton. It ain't the fastest or coolest bike out, but it'll be a good learner bike. Almost new, NZ new, and only 1 owner, who sound like they've looked after it -- serviced at the correct intervals etc. I'd say it'll be a good reliable bike, at least until you're on your full.

    Worth a glance anyway, IMHO.

If necessary, I could carry Kasper up as pillion and she could ride it down.

S'long as she promises to stop beating me with torches though.
