Thumbs up Honda VTR (VTR250) 2007

The Honda VTR or VTR250. One of the best naked 250 sports bikes on the market. Really good learners bike, very forgiving and fun to ride with its V Twin torque. Excellent comuter, weekend ride or for someone looking to get their bike license. Having said that, i have done over 7000kms on this bike within six months with one ride round the middle/lower part of the north island (over 1500kms).

    The bike has:

    - New WOF and rego
    - Full professional re-spray in mercedes gloss black (with a nice fleck in the paint - they did a really good job on this, i tried to get a shot of it)
    - After market mirrors, hand grips and foot pegs
    - Mini LED indicators all round
    - Rear tail tidy kit and LED brake light (see the close up pics)
    - Metzler M3's (These are some of the best tires on the market, really sticky and give the bike a new edge to it in terms of its handling... Front is 60-70% new, rear is 95% new)
    - Leo vince race exhaust (does not sound like a 250 at all, i will see if i can get a youtube movie setup of the sound)
    - 46,000+kms - high k's but goes really well
    - It has just had a oil and filter change and is running really well.
    - I dropped it once whilst stopping in gravel using the front brake and my footing slipped out from under the bike (going 1-5kms/h, so a slow speed crash). This scraped the front wheel faring and tank (hence the re-spray) and the exhaust and right bar end are scratched.
