    In theory you have actually no gain having the big brake discs on the buells.... the middle of the wheel spins slower than the outer edge near the tyre.... in saying this having the bigger disc would give leverage to the brakes.... i would imagine you would chew pads though, it would put more load on the pads with the disc spinning at a higher speed... i don't know how much the effective leverage would stop this happening...

    just another way of doing it i suppose... i have been side by side with one coming into turn one at taupo doing the same speed... and it didnt exactly slow down faster, at the end of the day you are limited by the tyre, would be interesting to ride one and see how the brakes do infact respond on them...
