You could get something secondhand that is likely to be of better quality. What about trademe?

It could be useful to try suits on in shops to work out what size/brand combo fits you best.

There's a KB member I know (he lives up the road from me) who bought a Dainese one-piece suit as Cash Perverters for $150. All that was wrong with it was it needed the zips in the lower legs replaced.

Look around - TardMe, ask Quasi what he's got (he's always willing to try and do a deal for KBers), second hand shops, etc. Alternatively, do what I did: start off buying cheap secondhand bits, then upgrade. Advantage of buying a two-piece is you can replace each bit as you can afford it.
I had a new leather jacket which I foolishly sold after a few years (when I was between bikes). I replaced that with a slightly better but very secondhand leather jacket, then bought some cheapish pants new. I then replaced the jacket with a Tecnic textile jacket, upgraded that with some leather bits on the sleeves'n'shoulders, upgraded the pants by adding armour, bought some new (better) pants, bought a new better jacket.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

Take a holiday - visit the Gold Coast and buy a one piece suit on special for $199.......

Obvious option would then be to try Trade Me. But a holiday sounded a better option
