Oh, and I kept thinking of, during the movie:
1/ Christian Bale's big rant. (CBBR) Every time I heard his voice.
2/ The Family Guy spoof of Christian Bale's rant. hehehe.

Actually the last good film I saw was Korean, and fairly old, but new to me. Don't know much about Korean cinema, you'll have to recommend me some. 웰컴투 동막골 (Welcome to Dongmakgol). I laughed and laughed and laughed then cried a bit then laughed then cried a bit again.
Aah I've heard of that. It's alright I guess. Sadly I'm not a big fan of Korean movies (well yea eventho I am one). I don't know, Korean dramas are... just.... yea not my type lol.

    Hollywood ftw!

Mate, it has, high in the mountains of Norway, a band of young medical students getting their shit ruined by zombies. And not just any old zombies - these are Nazi zombies.

Perfect blend of horror and humour - hell I was sold the instant I saw one of the characters was wearing a Braindead shirt. And if you haven't seen Braindead then you are in no place to comment on films (being ye olde Peter Jackson's best film to date.)

Korean dramas... Jesus... so much fail. I've never worked out why every Chinese girl I've ever known has been obsessed with them... why, they're Chinese, plenty of good local stuff!

I think the Korean stuff is just so over the top it appeals

It's the new America. Though, Koreans are generally smarter, so I can't see why they have to elaborate past the 'I get the joke!' finish line

Saw Terminator Salvation tonight. Enjoyed it.
They have left it open for one more flick to complete the full cycle i.e. to when Connor sends Reece back to 1984 and when the Arnie Terminator kills Connor (as Arnie told Connor in T3 that he kills him in the future). If they do make one more I wont complain. Pass the popcorn.

I liked some of the connections made to T1, like how Adult Connor shown in T1 came to get that scare across his cheek. Yeah, and Arnie's still commands a strong presence when he makes an entrance. So pleased they snuck him in.

Agreed Lucky Number Slevin is a great flick.

Just watched Unbreakable again tonight. I can't see how M Night Shamalamadingdong can make a gem like Unbreakable then create something so poor as Lady In The Water.
