Personal opinion only, but I don't like 'em and don't trust 'em.

All the chiro's I've been to have needed continual repeat visits (both at their insistance and because it's back out a weak (sic) later).

I've been seeing an osteo (in mianus so no use giving you his name) who uses electro-acupuncture to loosen the muscles then does some manipulation. Because the muscles are relaxed they don't squeeze your back back back out of alignment. Back. I see him about every back 8 months or so. You could always get a back chiro and massage combo, just watch the happy finish.
Has the Osteopath made a difference?

Absolutely. As I say I only need to go once every 8 months or so (which obviously isn't "fixed" but a whole heap better than it was).

Having said that I saw another osteo before this one and he was so-so. So it might be a case of having to try one or two out (of whatever persuasion) and see what works best for you.

But I'm a firm believer in combining some sort of musclular loosening work alongside the crunchy bits. And the electro-acupuncture i get is sooo relaxing.
