Haha we just went and got it.

Entering a corner at 100ks (honest!) and finding large patches of gravel isn't fun! Turns out the roadworks signs were lying on the ground out of sight We made it through alright though.

Bout time i went for a ride. Was good fun.

On the left here there should have been signs. There were cones but the signs were on the ground behind them.

It was just around here there were large squares of gravel just as you start going up hill. Was going along quite nicely until i saw the gravel and two massive trucks on the other side of the road.

There is also a smaller amount of gravel (signposted) about 1k before this (if your heading east).

They are 30K sections so you could imagine what its like finding this shit at 100 (or more )

On the way back StudMuffin stopped and picked up the signs (so he says anyway ).

OK thanks - I'll look out for it next time I go through that road (which is quite often).

I once blasted into loose gravel just as you come into Pukeatua. It was early morning and the gravel was in the shade of one of those big trees as you enter the village. In the corner...interesting...
