The side roads are the best. This particular one is bloody great, and it does a big loop heading south. I used to ride it on the bi-cycle when I was a wee lad. It's much easier and more fun with an engine (there's some bloody big hills to climb!).
I was gonna do Mangapiko Road (I think that's what it's called which is also a good road to practice cornering hard. [There's a location hint right there].
Spaz and I took a road further south which leads you back to some main road on the way to Kawhia. That was pretty cool as well. South Waikato has all the best roads
I 'am certain I have worked this out. If I have my machine back I'll take it out on Saturday morning if someone else hasn't beaten me to it
