Check out this creative mapping skills, thanks Google.
Looks like a lot more seal up there now than last time I went through. Must go have a snoop.

Woah, I reported an issue with the map where I linked it in my last post and they've already fixed it! Thought it would take weeks.

I posted a tag at the end of the sealed section about a year ago. Jim got my tag but complained the road was to tight for his housebus. I came out through the Te Rauamoa rd. It had just been graded then. Was an interesting ride.
If the weather holds off this morning, I'll go for a run. If I get the current tag, I might do a circut around the same track and check out if any more has been sealed. I doubt it tho',
Last time, I got called back to work.

Stayed home, Shitty black skies and heavy downpours, not worth getting wet through for just a short run.

Sat by the fire and watched the Motogp again.
I hate miserable weather on my days off.

    spare tyre

At a local Red cross book stall. They have a junk corner. There is a Kenda challenger rear tyre. 130/90/17. Good
tread, $10. I know it's a Kenda but might be ok for a back up emegency.

Edit: Gravel is required to get to this tag, it is a maintained gravel road though quite windy in places.
