Go for it.

Personally, I'd hate to see the thread die. I've had some great rides tracking down arcane tags. Means I go new places instead of riding the same old.

On call for the fortnight of xmas/new years, and havent been tagging much lately, but got a new toy so will be looking for excuses to put some miles up.

Had to go through to Hamilton to drop off a sold item. Drongos weren't awake, so went for a ride to nab the tag. Got up the new expressway and couldn't for the life of me remember the background to Slo's tag. Well, I thought I would reconize the place but didn't.

Will have another go on Monday,

I always took a draft quality b/w printout of the tag before venturing out. When I updated to a smart phone, I either upload the photo to the phone, check the forum via the phone whilst onsite or simply take a photo of the computer screen. Never had an issue since.

That will only work assuming you havent broken your motorola defy any worse then last time we spoke.

The phone works fine. I hadn't thought about getting the tag before leaving home hence no recent look at the tag.

Hey slofox. Since I'm on holiday, I thought I'd ride down from whiti to grab your tag and give this the kiss of life. Now that the express way is finished everything looks waaay different. I rode the length of it with your pic to find the spot. I hope this is it!
