OLD TAG: Gate at Kihikihi Domain, round the back there kinda.
NEW TAG: You'll find this quite easily - not too far from Arapuni. The road it is on is a bit of a horror horror road...

To make the most of the ride, go to Kihikihi and take Arapuni Road to cross the dam.

How did I go so many days before seeing the new tag??

Am off around the hw22 area today, so I might snap a new tag out there somewhere then do a big loop and grab the old one on my way home.

Slofox's tag, and the new one, Domain rd Putaruru. Not a spectacular tag but I was over there when I remembered I'd left home without locking the house. So decided to grab a close tag and get back home before the house got burgled. It hadn't.

This thread is pretty much dead. I used to chase the tag in the hope of others getting involved, but now I just go for my rides, if the current tag is on the way, I'll stop, otherwise I dont bother.

The only reason I chase tags is because I get to go places I wouldn't normally get to.

OK, I happened to be in the area, so




Then on the way home I found these lovely Acacias



A higher definition pic of the background is in the thumbnail. It might have an important clue.

Should be an interesting tag to pin down. I even opened the thumbnail as big as possible, then looked for a reflection on the bike of a sign. The water looks big enough to be the Waikato river. Also I can see a framework jutting out into the river with a pipe framed gangway leading to the wooden structure.
