Was just about to head out. I think you have just cut my trip in half. There was already a tag taken only a few metres away i think!

I tried to get this for a tag way back in the winter time. Abandoned the attempt on account of soft ground - couldn't get the bike to stand up. Easier today.

Google maps has Pakoka Scenic Reserve over in the Coromandel somewhere...shouldn't be any "Kawhia" signs over there...

Sorry didnt see that last part yesterday slofox. It's around some rather popular falls

Google maps does not show the pakoka scenic reserve sign but you will see some real estate signs in its place.

I went to collect the latest Tag on Wednesday evening. Ulysses had an evening ride to Raglan.
I have a nice picture of the Raglan pub in my Camera with a line up of ST's. This was to be the next tag.
I then left Raglan on my way to the falls and the tag. By then the light was fading rapidly and the lightening was lighting up the skys. I tuned of but about 2 kms down the road had second thoughts and turned around
As it was I collected a soaking on Collins Road. A thunderstorm in the dark isn't a lot of fun on a motorcycle.

Yep fair enough! The road to the tag is in awesome condition. I was thinking they should do an event similar to the cliffhanger on it
