Tag o rama!

All this talking of tags and maps an shit gave me the urge so off I went to get the latest tag. Its in the maungakawa scenic reserve. I seem to remember picking up another tag there quite some time ago. Here's something I didn't know. It's actually the site of a sanatorium used for patients with tuberculosis to recover back in the day. The original building has long since gone and the little concrete bit behind the sign is all that remains!

Old Tag. Maungakawa scenic reserve sanatorium hill

New Tag. Clue....That dairy factory in the background does NOT belong to Fonterra

OLD TAG: Under the new overbridge, Avalon Drive, norf end.

NEW TAG: Also part of the new road system up that end of town. This road just opened. Named after the native freshwater crayfish...Tag is the signs BTW - others just to help find the place.

You forgot to mention the FORD!

This was as close as I wanted to go, not knowing how much water was requiring fording. Good enough? If not, someone else can go get it on their dual purpose. Or wait for the flood to subside. I couldn't be having with dragging the bike out of a flood.


Old Tag: Pukemokemoke Bush Reserve, Tauhei Road.

New Tag: Kinda self explanatory. Not a bad ride to get to it depending on which way you go.
