    ah!! thanks frosty!
hey george, i've got frosty's old zxr750 and, well, i haven't had the best of luck with it
    my problem is as follows:
i was riding along minding my own business when "whack" i felt somerthing hit my left leg, looked down, some cord is hanging off my bike and my clutch won't pull in... come to a stop on the side of the road, check the bike: it seems something got caught in the chain and had been rubbing a while, it ripped out the housing "where the clutch cable goes into the gearbox??" and competely sheared it off. umm what else can i tell you, the engine was still running after it happened, so no trouble there i think, and there was liquid coming from the clutch cable bit and oil coming out of the gearbox. oh and a sizeable rod-type-thing dropped out of the gearbox.

so if you can help me i'd be stoked!
frosty just told me about the taupo track day he's organising so i'm really keen to get it fixed back up. and also cause i haven't riden for about 2 months and i'm getting itchy under the skin!

ummm yea so let me know if you can and i'll give you a call. i live in devonport
    cheers heaps,
    - Mike

Ok From pictures only I think that whats happened is sommat rolled round the chain and literally exploded the sprocket cover that is also the mounting for the clutch slave --the clutch pushrod has then plopped out allowing oil to piss out the hole/seal.
-sorry SD im just kinda converting your words into mechanicease.
Now the good news is that White Trash has a set of crankcases sitting I think at his place so if case is fucked then He'll be able to send em up --I HOPE
