Nostradamus is a tad off with his predictions....the end of the world already started when we noticed the temperature going up.
The world as we know it will certainly be over with ,this century.

Nostradamus's predictions were purposely encrypted and put into riddles so he wouldn't be seen as a whitch or warlock and get burnt at the stake...

Careful with words like that, they'll set the altar boys on you (when they have finished with them of course).

End of the world in 2011? - pfft. The world will carry on until the sun goes nova and bakes the shit out of it.

Some guy has come up with the prediction that Mars or Venus will slam into the earth. Something to do with orbital chaos. Mind you it won't happen untill another three billion odd years.

I suppose that means that the 19 people that think he's spot on will buy a flash bike 'on tick' since they won't have to pay for them.

While temperatures have been rising, there are signs that things may swing the other way.

The increased heat has done something ( I forget what ) that causes intense cold blasts, and some predictions are that rather than heat, we may be in for an ice age. A bit like the planet is overcompensating for the increased heat.

The theory was that the planet goes in phases of hot, cold, hot, cold, and was gradually heading towards a more stable permanent state. But with human intervention by way of greenhouses gasses, it's swinging off balance again and could be swinging back to cold again. There is a bit of data to support it, but I couldn't be bothered checking it out.

If it's a choice between Venus and Mars, then I hope it is Mars. Finally, men will have the last say!

Right when I'm standing in front of god as he judges me and throws me into the lake of fire I'll make sure to give him a nice punt to the balls. Anyone else?

World ends when you die. For a %age of us thats in the next few hours but few would ever suspect it. Doesn't our time have Nostradamuses - climate change proponents mainly?
