    94 zxr 400 exhaust

    looking for a 1994 zxr400 exhaust as the one ihave on my bike at the moment makes it run like a bag of crap under 4000 rpm

    Trademe dude - there are always pipes up there you could fit.

    Sure it's the muffler making it run sad? Is it a big arse open pipe?

    You could try getting a outlet reducer made at a local muffler shop - get them to take a bit of pipe smaller than your existing outlet and swell it up to be a tight fit inside your existing outlet (oh baby). leave the pipe about 150-200 mm long inside your muffler and rivet in into the outlet.

    This will give more backpressure (plus less noise) and possibly fix the issue for about $20.

    well the bike shop told me thats the problim... its not the carbs, fuel, timings or anything like tht so thats all the can put it down to and its been modified at the catchement point so thts wot they said it would be... thanks for the info
