I'm with scumdog. Probably a rifle. Way too much energy there to be a 9mm IMHO, and the clean split up the middle of his face doesn't look like a shotgun. The shattered jaw looks like what happens when you put an animal down with a .308.

I think the fact that his face had kinda split apart made the wound tract look bigger than it actually was, but I still doubt it was a 9mm...

Not sure between rifle or shotgun, shotgun would have had to be heavy gauge shot...

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go scrub my eyes with a steelo.

Hadn't seen that before. Pretty much what I would have expected though given what a 9mm carbine does to a goat (or possum if you're feeling particularly rambo)

30-30 does a pretty good job on bunnies. Skins and guts in one action.

I remember shooting one bunny with a 30-30 and when I went to pick it up, all of the unborn baby bunnies fell out of it.

I had a cousin who used to go possum hunting with a 12gauge and large-shot shells... He had a strange sense of humour when it came to raining possum entrails though
