At the time of the accident the camera bike was showing 100mph and the bike ahead had been pulling away from it.
And some of you still think it was the car driver's fault?????
They should have made the guy on the camera bike bag his mate up.

I am what the police describe as a "recidivist speeder" but my tickets are rarely for exceeding 120kph. (I'm such a murderer) I cruise at about 115-120kph coz, for the most part (sober, awake, in good conditions) our roads can support that speed; car OR bike.
Travelling at 160-180 I reserve for occasional moments and above that for rare moments, chosen well in my humble opinion.
175mph is what? 285kph? (Approx.)
At that pace you need to be extremely careful about where you do it. Some people aren't. A track would be the best place to prove a point, something I learnt in about 1978/9.
Public roads are, for want of a better expression, full of public.
It was certainly one of those time and place situations.
At the pace at which he apprached the hatchback I don't think it is reasonable to expect the driver to have the same level of awreness as required by a biker.
The biker could see the hatchback guy was up the car infront's arse and overtaking should have bene a reasonable expectation.
Apart from that bad piece of riding - WOW - what a blast!!!!
Actually, there is a good reason why and why not, regardless if that statement is taken literally or not. He did join in and his mate would probably not have done what he did if there wasn't a mate with a camera filming, so you could argue it was very slightly his fault contributing to his mates behaviour, and I would feel a little responsible, myself. But like I said, it was the dudes decision to ride that fast, it's really no body's fault but himself. Yea/nah?
£190 fine??
Fucking hell.. I got fined more than that for doing 123km/h (76mph) here.
There's heaps of places to do that sort of speed in safety (ie, nobody about) in England.
I used to get an indicated 165mph on my Triumph every day on the way to work. NEVER saw a police car in the the counties where they've swapped the traffic police for cameras. It's a dangerous/wreckless/uninsured eastern europeans illegal immigrants' dream.
I get no morbid satisfaction from videos such as these, thinking of the loved ones who get left behind and lives destroyed... but at least watching these puts me off ever trying that stupid shit.
