New F3 racer needs VMCC help

Hey folks I met a cool young fella today . He's getting into racing gently via the trackday and F3 route.
I'd really like to be able to help him out for his first meeting or two but he's definitely going to be a minefeild rider.
He needs to know how to get club membership and a licence Then just some tips with getting setup in the pits n stuff like that.
Could someone from Vic Club gimme a yeodle please.

Ohh and if ya see the Frosty leathers around the pits worn by a younger better looking fella than me do him a favour and go up n say hi.

Join an MNZ affiliated club (AMCC, VMCC, Pacific etc). Get a licence application from MNZ. Enter an event.

Tell him to get his arse to Manfeild this w/e. He should start by finding Clivoris (Clive)
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Just tell him to get onto the Vic Club website www.vicclub.co.nz and all the information is on there on how to get Started with Road Racing and also he can down load a Membership Form off there and then once he has become a Member of the Vic Club, he then can send his Membership card along with his payment to MNZ to get his MNZ Race Licence ok?.
Also tell him to come along this weekend to Manfield where he can meet the Vic Club committee and riders who would be more than happy to answer any further questions that he may have. Cheers Sue (Skip) VMCC

Sorry Tony, your point wasn't very clear. We are so short handed we don't have any committee members free on a race day. We do our best to help anyone who approaches us though - we want the riders to have fun of course. If he wanders up to anyone wearing a Vic Club jacket (grey and black with Vic Club on the back) or a visi-vest we should be able to help. I can be found in Pit lane most of the time.
What you really need is another experienced rider to help him out.

Can he change tyres ?? Fit tyre warmers ?? Stand ready with a rear stand ?? Talk shit ??
Any of the above and he'll fit right in to any pitt, but tell him to come say hi, i'll train him up on the talk shit bit !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !
