I don't give tips. Neither to men nor women - I'm a cheap bastard...
It is preferential to refrain from the utilisation of grandiose verbiage in the circumstance that your intellectualisation can be expressed using comparatively simplistic lexicological entities. (...such as the word fuck.)

Thank you for your vote of confidence in the lads. Boys with great self-esteem really help things go better don't they.

Then be quiet in the knowledge that you are good! Smile politely, thank the person for their advice and show them what you are capable of! No need to trash talk. (Not that I’m saying you are, I’m saying you come across as if you feel have nothing to learn or no improvements to make)

You never know they may actually offer advice that broadens your knowledge base. Only in the industry 5 years you say? He may have been for 20 and can actually teach you something. Not a gender based thing, a knowledge thing.

I have been doing what I do for almost 20 years - and fuck I still learn new things!

As far as having to work twice as hard to get same recognition as thier male counterparts... that's life. That's human nature. Consider yourself pioneers and be proud of "working twice as hard" and what you're achieving for our daughters. In the past 3 1/2 years of being a "Stay-at-home-Dad", I've had to work twice as hard as other mothers to fit in at Playcenter, coffee groups, Daycare, even to make friends with other mothers so my daughter has friends of her own! I've had litterally EVERY mother I've met give me some kind of advice (most of which was common sense but I gratefully accepted it anyway), and not once have I complained. It's been a challenge, but I love every second of it, and wouldn't trade it for the world. I hope what I've done has helped atleast a little to pave the way for more fathers to spend some of each of thier kids childhood at home raising them full-time. Our daughter by the way... you'll never catch her bitching about men giving her advice. I'm teaching her to listen to all the advice anyone gives her, then practice only of it that she deems wise to.
i think people are taking this the wrong way, im not after anyones aprovle or acceptence, i do what i do because i enjoy it and no more. if it was advice it would be great , but its not, the guys in the crew think it so funny too.

Now there's your problem, Time to get assertive, decide who your better then (its easiest if you just decide your better then everybody else, and then let them prove themselves worthy) and start talking down to people.

Before you know it....You will be in middle management.woohooo.

did the advice come in the form of
"get that fucking pilla OFF MY CAR YOU STUPID BITCH?"
if so, don't worry about it.
    that's more criticism than advice.
Perhaps give the advisers some tips on how to use their penis?
If they get offended just say they looked like they didn't know how to use them.
    Best of luck
